Art prints & occasional originals

Phoebe Rothfeld (she/her) is an illustrator and designer who grew up on a diet of books filled with whimsy and magic and darkness and hope. She works across a wide range of mediums that includes ink, watercolor, gouache, and digital. Despite the variance in medium, the projects she embarks on all come from the same desire to inspire imagination, empathy, and openness through visual stories.

Very early on she found joy in drawing from life and as a way to illustrate narratives, bringing to it a sense of seriousness, a devotion to detail and all things miniature, and an intense love for fantasy narratives.

Phoebe received her MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She is a published book illustrator, and has had work included in annuals such as American Illustration, Creative Quarterly, and Applied Arts. She is currently working as a freelance illustrator, and writing and illustrating her own stories that are slightly dark, slightly fantastical, and entirely hopeful.

If you have a project in mind, or just want to say hi, please feel free to get in touch!
